Role

The objective of this role is to manage the implementation of client related projects for an end-to-end e-Commerce outsourcing form, taking in to account the translation of functional and technical specifications, on time delivery, scope, deliverables, acceptance conditions and budget management for a full project lifecycle. The role is based on our UK office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project work plans, which are associated with the implementation of functionality for eCommerce & logistics based on Agile methodologies
  • Monitor the deliverables of functional teams that are engaged in the project
  • Assure quality of delivery for the project
  • Drive resolution of issues within the scope of the project
  • Resolve and/or escalate problems relating to the timely delivery of the project
  • Report status to all project stakeholders
  • Manage project budget (revenue and expense) to plan
  • Risk management and mitigation
  • Ensures client satisfaction and maintains client relationships through all phases of the projects
  • Understands, manages and controls the commercials of each project and client account.
  • Compile, review & prioritize demand
  • Gather requirements and assets
  • Submissions and approvals of budgets and commercial agreements
  • Provide cost and timeline estimates based on requirements & input from offshore teams
  • Create & manage all project contracts and gain approvals
  • Ensures all projects are QA’d and pass all required UAT prior to franchise approval
  • Consolidate and provide feedback, update change logs
  • Responsible for escalating issues/risks associated with project pipeline, capacity and/or scope creep
  • Responsible for project scoping, planning, financial management, invoicing and forecast monitoring
  • Proactively works with service management to report project status, identify opportunities for service improvement and uncovers potential risks with quality for escalation
  • Provide creative and requirement recommendations for projects based on need

Experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor degree required/ equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in E-Commerce/ Project Management required
  • Retail experience desirable
  • Software project management lifecycle
  • Agile methodologies

Desirables

  • Strong project management skills with proven experience in the delivery of digital content production services
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Anticipates key milestones and project dependencies/downstream implications to ensure success
  • Ability to critically assess a project or process to identify improvement opportunities
  • Experience working with agencies, client teams, off-shore teams and third-party vendors on digital initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate project requirements, communicate project status, and interface with internal and external team members
  • Exposure to platforms such as Magento, Hybris, and Salesforce commerce would be advantageous
